Created by Laurence Bourthoumieux , also known as Toutsy, Brazil was first published in 1988 , then reissued in 1991. This iconic design is presented here in a rare 140 cm version in silk chiffon , particularly elegant, fluid and light.

The Brazil theme is a vibrant homage to the Amazon rainforest , where lush vegetation and exotic plumage intertwine. Tangled foliage, palm fronds, and tropical birds unfold in a symmetrical, dynamic, and deeply evocative composition.

The color palette blends anthracite, deep green and cinnamon.

Art and History of this Hermès Scarf

With Brazil , Toutsy Bourthoumieux explores the richness of Amazonian biodiversity . Opulent foliage, majestic birds, palm textures, and animal silhouettes intertwine in a masterful graphic balance. The choice of silk chiffon elevates this composition: every movement of the fabric evokes the shimmering of the canopy in the light. This scarf is among the artist's most celebrated creations, and this 140 chiffon version is a rare collector's item , prized for its fineness and dramatic scale.
