Art and History of this Hermès Scarf

Lenke Szechwnzyl designed several patterns for Hermès in the 1960s, all marked by a keen sense of decorative composition. With Ramage , she explores a dense and structured, almost baroque, botanical world where natural curves are rigorously arranged. This scarf, never reissued, perfectly illustrates the graphic and understated spirit of Hermès' early decades and is now among the house's most sought-after pieces.
