A rare Hermès scarf created from engravings taken from the Encyclopédie of Diderot & d’Alembert, a monument of 18th-century knowledge. First issued in 1957, then reissued in 2005, L’Art d’écrire (The Art of Writing) celebrates the art of calligraphy and the transmission of knowledge.
Colours: pastel green, anthracite.
This scarf was made famous by the actress Kelly Rutherford in her iconic role as Lily Van Der Woodsen in the series Gossip Girl. An elegant, graphic design steeped in history.
